Malcolm McLorg
Malcolm McLorg has extensive litigation experience representing insurance companies, real estate partnerships, individuals and corporations. Prior to joining de la Peña & McDonald LLP, Mr. McLorg worked for seven years in an of counsel relationship with Carlson, Calladine & Peterson LLP, a firm that specialized in insurance coverage and bad faith law and legal malpractice defense. From 1991 to 2000, he was a partner at Hoffman, Finney & Klinedinst, and earlier in several other Bay Area firms including his own, Green & McLorg. His trial experience includes jury trials in both the defense and prosecution of insurance bad faith, construction disputes, legal malpractice, fraud and general commercial litigation.
Mr. McLorg has extensive legal writing experience both before trial courts, courts of appeal, and the California Supreme Court. He has drafted several appellate and Supreme Court briefs as well as argued several cases before California Courts of Appeal.
